Locl shows you shops in your neighbourhood. When you sign up, you'll select the neighbourhood you live in, and we'll only show you shops that are local to you. You can also use our WhatsApp bot to search by category — just say something like "show me bakeries" or "who delivers near me?"
Yes! Add items from as many shops as you like to your cart and checkout in one go. Since each shop prepares and fulfils their own orders, you'll receive a separate order confirmation and receipt for each shop — but you only pay once at checkout.
We use Razorpay for secure online payments. You can pay via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.), credit or debit card, or net banking. Payment is collected at checkout before your order is confirmed with the shop.
You'll receive automatic WhatsApp updates as your order moves through each stage — from placed, to being prepared, to ready for pickup or out for delivery. You can also check the status of all your orders at any time from the "Your Orders" page on the website.
If your payment fails, you can cancel directly from the payment screen and your cart items will be restored. Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, please contact the shop directly as soon as possible — once a shop has started preparing your order, changes may not be possible.
Our WhatsApp bot lets you discover and browse local shops without opening the app. Just message us on WhatsApp and talk naturally — try things like "show me bakeries", "is Sharma's open right now?", "who delivers near me?", or "show my recent orders". The bot will reply with shop links, hours, and other details instantly.
Not always — it depends on the shop. Some shops offer delivery, some are pickup-only, and some offer both. You can check a shop's page to see what they support, or ask the WhatsApp bot: "does [shop name] deliver?"
Each shop's page shows their phone number if the vendor has provided one. You can also ask the WhatsApp bot — just say "what's [shop name]'s phone number?" and it'll fetch it for you straight away.
Click "For Chefs" in the navigation and sign up as a vendor. After your number is verified, you can set up your shop profile, add your products, set your opening schedule, and toggle delivery on or off. Once everything's ready, go live and start receiving orders!
